First day back after what seems like a very long summer! Really cannot believe we are finally in Level 6!
Today we allocated our studio spaces for the final year - ended up with a space that I am quite happy with, hopefully I will get quite a bit done in there this year. A lot of opportunity for gallery visits this year and next, starting off with a trip to the Liverpool Biennial in October, then an independent study week mid-October (which will be an excellent opportunity to visit some galleries) then of course BERLIN in February 2015!!
I have also placed some books on hold to get me started with my work for this semester, including:
"Ruins" and "The Sublime" from the Whitechapel Documents of Art series, and also "The poetics of space" by Gaston Bachelard.
Really excited for this year to properly kick in on the 22nd! But until then, I better catch up on my reading!
